Conrad Murray, the controversial doctor who treated pop legend Michael Jackson in his last moments is suffering a slow death in a jail cell according to his lawyers. They also state that Murray is experiencing life-threatening and permanent injuries, after spending almost one whole year in a cramped jail cell.
Dr Conrad has limited access to exercise and space as a result of being held in a high-security part of the Los Angeles County jail. Murray’s cell is said to be isolated so that he can be protected from the general inmate population. The jail cell is said to be 5 feet by 7 feet, whereas Murray is 6 feet and 5 inches tall. The size of the cell results in a lack of moving space and is causing a lack of circulation as well as atrophy, according to the doctors lawyers Michael Flanagan and Valerie Wass.
Conrad Murray was jailed on November 7, 2011, and according to his lawyers, if someone not familiar with the doctor were to compare earlier photos to his current condition, they would be shocked. They went on to state that anyone who knew about his suffering in the past year would describe it as unimaginable.
