Canadian teenager Amanda Todd’s mother Carol Todd has said that she does not want children to suffer like her daughter did. Amanda was stalked and harassed in cyber space as well as in the school yard, by people familiar to her as well as by stalkers who were miles away from her.
The teenager had narrated her story in a video posted on YouTube on September 7, 2012. Every time Todd tried to start a new life, cyber stalkers would track her and threaten her by flashing images of her body. Carol, while talking about her daughter said that Amanda wanted to get her message out, which was to use the internet as a learning tool, rather than a place to cause harm.
