South Korean electronics giant LG said that they are facing a shortage of Google Nexus 4 handsets. Andy Coughlin, the head of LG UK, while talking to reporters said that the phone has become extremely popular and that retailers have been encountering huge demands.
Coughlin also said that they are working closely with Google to ensure that those who wish to purchase a handset are able to do so. The 8 GB and the 16 GB versions of the device are currently not available on the Google Play Store. Mobile operator O2 is also offering the 16 GB phone for £399, or for free upon taking a two-year contract.
