LFO Summer Girls Singer Dead – Rich Cronin, the famous LFO singer, whose band rose to fame with the track “Summer Girls”, died on Wednesday after battling leukemia for the past 5 years. Cronin died two weeks after his 35th birthday.

His death is mourned by fans and friends across the world. N’SYNC singer Lance Bass tweeted: “Sad sad day that Rich Cronin died- was a amazing guy. : (”

The LFO front man Cronin was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia in the year 2005. After being diagnosed, Cronin began the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation to create awareness about the dreaded disease.

LFO (Lyte Funky Ones) was an American pop/rap trio comprising of Rich Cronin, Devin Lima Brad Fischetti. The band released their hit “Summer Girls” in 1999, which took them to the 3rd position in the U.S charts.
