The CMA Awards or the Country Music Association Awards 2010 were splendid as always and awesome for the winners, of course and especially for the country music couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, who took five trophies to their home.

Lambert took away ‘Album of the Year’ for ‘Revolution, Female Vocalist and Music Videos of the year whereas, Shelton received Male Vocalist and Musical Event of the Year for his duet with Trace Adkins, ‘Hillbilly Bone’.

Female Vocalist of the Year: Miranda Lambert
Male Vocalist of the Year: Blake Shelton
New Artist of the Year: Zac Brown Band
Vocal Group of the Year: Lady Antebellum
Vocal Duo of the Year: Sugarland
Album of the Year: Lambert’s Revolution
Single of the Year: Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now”
Song of the Year: Lambert’s “The House That Built Me” (written by Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin
Musical Event of the Year: Shelton and Trace Adkins for “Hillbilly Bone”
Music Video of the Year: Lambert’s “The House That Built Me”
Musician of the Year: Guitarist Mac McAnally

The Country Music Association Awardees are selected on the basis of the votes by the business members of the Country Music Association.
