UK Today News: In a press announcement, T- Mobile has said that the changes that have been made recently in the data allowance will affect only the new users and those who have recently upgraded. The announcement was made by the Vice President of T-Mobile UK, Lysa Hardy.
Hardy said, “On Monday, 10th January 2011 we announced that, in line with the rest of the industry, T-Mobile would be reducing its Fair Use Policy for data usage to 500MB a month for all mobile phone customers.” Hardy continued to say that the changes will be applicable only for the new users and those who have upgraded.
The Vice President also clarified that existing customers will not have any changes in the data packages and had also apologized for the confusions caused. According to the T-Mobile spokesman, the customers will face some curtailment in its services, but at the same time no disclosures were made about the details.
It was also confirmed that the normal browsing activity will remain constant.
