Andy Murray of Great Britain came up after a massive recovery from last month’s Wimbledon blow and left behind Switzerland’s Roger Federer to claim gold on Centre Court on August 5, 2012. It has been exactly four week after Federer beat him to claim the 17th grand slam title on the same court.
Murray after the win reduced to tears and clambered in to the seats to embrace his girlfriend, parents and coaching team and leapt in to the crowd which went crazy. Murray who is yet to win a grand slam title said, “This is the biggest win of my life.” Murray added that this is the best way he could come back to the Wimbledon Final.
