JK Rowling’s adult novel faces font glitch

The buyers in the US who have bought the new JK Rowling novel have faced a few glitches as they find it difficult to read. The buyers have faced a formatting problem when the Casual Vacancy was downloaded to some of the e-readers.

It could be shown only in the large size which showed a limited number of words per page or in tiny sized type. Hachette, the publisher of the e-book has released a fixed version, but many of the users who had pre-ordered the title will have been affected.

The novel when released had topped many of the ebook charts before its release due to the popularity of the JK Rowling’s first novel for adults. The new novel has been revealed after the success of the Harry Potter series. Hachette had released a statement which said that they were aware of the issue and that it was responsible for the fault.

The fault had prevented the users to adjust the font and margin sizes .The publisher in a statement said, “As soon as Hachette was made aware of these issue, a replacement file was uploaded to all ebook retailers”. The statement added that every retailer has been requested to contact their customers directly about reloading their ebook.
