Tennessee Flood, Tennessee Flooding: The Tennessee state emergency management officials have said that the severe storms and massive flooding that lashed Tennessee last weekend have killed 23 people.

Reports say that the Tennessee flooding has resulted in property damage of more than $1.5 billion in the Nashville area.

According to CNN: “Piles of debris stretched for blocks in the city’s Bellevue neighborhood Sunday.
Soggy furniture, drywall and flooring lined the curbs as residents and volunteers tried to stay positive while cleaning up the damage flooding left behind.”

Currently, more than 17,000 people had requested assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and more than $4 million in federal assistance already has already been approved for individuals.
