UK Today News: Ronnie James Dio Dead – Wife Wendy Dio Confirms Ronnie James Dio’s Death
Ronnie James Dio Dead, Dio Died, Dio Death: Black Sabbath singer Ronnie James Dio, has died at the age of 67. His wife Wendy Dio and manager have confirmed the news.
The American heavy rock music singer Dio is known to have been suffering from stomach cancer for some time now.
Dio’s wife Wendy, said on his website: “Today my heart is broken. Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away.”
Ronnie James Dio sang for Rainbow before joining Black Sabbath, and then went on to be a part of Heaven & Hell and also the self-titled band Dio.
