Myanmar’s Political activist Aung Sang Suu Kyi, who was released from house arrest on Saturday after 15 years, said that she needs to speak to the ruling political leaders to sort out the problems in her country.

Suu Kyi said, “There are so many things that we have to talk about. I think we have to sort out our differences across the table, talking to each other, agreeing to disagree or finding out why we disagree and trying to remove the sources of our disagreement if we possibly can.”

She wants to work on raising the living standards of the people in Myanmar. Reports state that Suu Kyi feels that the basic component of a democracy is freedom of speech. She even showed keen interest to work with the democratic forces.

Suu Kyi’s freedom struggle was recognized by the Nobel Prize fraternity and she was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize award in the year 1990. Her release was celebrated by her supporters and fans across the globe, and she said that she will be careful how she treads with her freedom.
