UK Today News: Focus On Iran At The UN Conference Regarding The Nuclear Non – Proliferation Treaty

To strengthen the Nuclear Non – Proliferation Treaty, the UN opened the conference on Monday, and the Secretary Ban Ki-Moon told Iran to cooperate with the help of international communities to solve its nuclear crisis. The main projection of the program is to concentrate on cutting Iran’s nuclear arms and put more light on Iran’s nuclear program.

Mr. Ban said that the talks should make more room on topics regarding – cutting of nuclear arms, more transparency of nuclear programs, to include nuclear power countries: India, Pakistan and Israel to sign the treaty and to make the Middle East a nuclear weapon free zone.

Ban said that Iran should clarify each and every aspect of its nuclear program and demanding the country to stop its Uranium Enrichment program. To strengthen the proliferation treaty is the most important subject and making more countries sign it is also unavoidable.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinijad told the UN that they are going to present a new resolution of its nuclear program and still emphasized that the program is only for the development of the countries energy source and peaceful purpose.

America on the other hand, had no direct talks with Iran, nor did they present any anticipation that their leaders would come up with something new.
