MTV Africa Music Awards 2010 to take place in Lagos on December 11
MTV Africa Music Awards 2010 – One of the leading Telecommunication companies in the world, Airtel, and global music group, MTV, have made available their tickets to the MTV Africa music awards 2010, with Airtel in Nigeria and various other markets in Africa; on Saturday, the 27th November 2010.
Africa’s MTV music event will be held at the Eko Expo Hall, Victoria Island in Lagos on December 11, 2010. This will be the first time that the music event will be held at Lagos. The event is expected to feature performances from the Teargas from Africa, Banky W and 2Face from Nigeria, Daddy Oven from Kenya, DJ Arafat from Ivory Coast, Cabo Snoop from Angola, Fally Ipupa from DRC, Jozi from South Africa and P-Unit from Kenya.
The organizers of the event claim that the tickets of the event will be sold out within 24 hours from the time of its availability. Many Nigerian artists have been nominated for the various award segments, like the artist of the year award, best group and best video.
According to reports, the MTV Africa Music awards will be sponsored by the Telecommunication company Airtel in association with Mastercard.
