UK Today News: American socialite and television personality Nicole Richie has got married to her long time boyfriend Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, on Saturday. The couple got married at Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills estate.
According to reports, Nicole walked down the aisle on her father’s hit song ‘Ballerina Girl’. Lionel had written the song for his daughter Richie a few years ago and he had also sang ‘You Are’ to the couple at the wedding reception.
Some sources had also said that an elephant was brought at the wedding venue. As Nicole was fond of elephants, Lionel surprised her by bringing the elephant for her.
The couple had a very classy and a simple wedding and had just 130 guests for the occasion. Joel’s twin Benji Madden was reportedly the best man, while Samantha Ronson was the bridesmaid. The other stars who attended the wedding included Gwen Stefanie, Kris Jenner, Gavin Rossdale, Rachel Zoe, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Ellen Pompie and Pete Wentz.
