UK Today News: Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, who arrived as a commoner at Westminster Abbey, left as a new member of the British Royal family. The new names for the newly weds are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Holy matrimony started as soon as the clock struck 11 am GMT. Kate arrived in a simple white gown with a tiara, a veil and a shy smile, which could be seen through the thin lace veil. The new Duchess smiled as she walked down the aisle with her father Michael Middleton.
The Royal wedding was witnessed by 1,900 guests at Westminster Abbey and billions watched it on television across the world. Kate took about seven minutes to walk down the red carpet along with her father and sister Pippa, who was the maid of honor.
As soon as Kate reached the altar, William seemed to have whispered to her saying that she looked beautiful. Later, the newly married couple went on their journey towards, Buckingham palace on a red chariot escorted with several beautiful white and black horses. Among the celebrities, who attended the wedding ceremony were Elton John and his partner David Furnish, David Beckham and Victoria among others. The newly weds later appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and kissed each other while they waved to the crowd outside the palace.
Meanwhile, the Royal reception is awaited where just 300 invitees would be joining in.
