UK Today News: British folk rock band Mumford & Sons have announced that they will be performing a string of dates in the UK this summer. The UK dates also includes their own one-day festivals.
The special shows have been titled as ‘Gentlemen of the Road Stopover’, which will be outdoor events and features a line up by the band. Some of the supporting acts include The Vaccines, Willy Mason and Michael Kiwanuka. The folk stars, in a statement, said that they want to stop off in towns which are not usually heavy toured by bands and celebrate the food, people and music that inhabit them.
Moreover, the band will also be playing a series of smaller concerts in the month if May and June. The tickets will be available from April 20 through local outlets. Here are the dates the band will be performing in UK.
May 30 – St David’s Hall, Cardiff
May 31 – Leas Cliff Pavilion, Folkestone
June 2 – Gentlemen of the Road Stopover In Huddersfield – Mumford & Sons + Michael Kiwanuka, Willy Mason, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Correspondents
June 4 – The Apex, Bury St Edmonds
June 5 – Marina Theatre, Lowestoft June 6 – The Sage, Gateshead
