The parents of Kate Middleton, Michael and Carole Middleton were seen seated in the Royal Box on Centre Court at Wimbledon on July 3, 2012. Mr. and Mrs. Middleton had come down to watch David Ferrer take on Juan Martin del Potro and a match by two women’s quarter finals, which featured Serena Williams and title holder Petra Kvitova and Sabine Lisicki versus Angelique Kerber.

This is a development for Carole Middleton who was till now seated in the regular seats on Centre Court when she visited the All England Club on Wednesday. On the other hand, Catherine’s siblings Pippa and James attended on Thursday and were made to sit at the best seats in the house.

Maybe this is the effect of relations with the Royals. Price Edward, Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, the Duke of Kent, the All England Club’s member was seen at his regular place in the Royal Box. The guest list also included Bahraini Royal Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak al-Khalifa.

The other people included veteran war correspondent, Max Hastings, Giles Clarke the chairman of England and Waled Cricket Board, British mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins and Britain’s 2000 Olympic heptathlon champion Denise Lewis.
