British alternative rock band Blur has confirmed that they will be performing at the popular Maida Vale Studios later in the month. The band has already reformed to play in the month of August at London’s Hyde Park.
The members of the band will be interviewed and will play live at Maida Vale for Radio 2 as well as 6 Music. The band members Graham Coxon, Damon Albarn, Alex James and Dave Rowntree will be at the Maida Vale on July 31, 2012.
The fans of the British band are expecting them to play their classic hits as well as their new single ‘Under The West Way’. Steve Lamacq the presenter of 6Music will be chatting with the band members from 4 pm with an hour long concert and then broadcast on Radio 2 for 8pm.
The head of music station Radio 2 and 6 Music Jeff Smith said, “This year marks a huge milestone for Blur as a band. The contribution they have made to the history of British music cannot be underestimated.” The fans of the band will also get an opportunity to win the tickets of the concert so that they can see the band perform live at Maida Vale.
