We are the World 2010 the second edition, this time for relief in Haiti

Remember the year 1985 when “We Are The World” song was made by Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones for African famine.

Michael Jackson is not amoung us now, but Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie have planned for a 25th anniversary of the original recording of the song, its for relief in Haiti.

The song was made all written by the “King of pop” Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and their efforts along with producer Quincy Jones made around $63 million for the African famine.

The song was to be recorded on Jan 28th with Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie, but due to the earthquake in Haiti, their plans were on hold.
Smokey Robinson who also sang in the 1985 “We are the World” version of the song will be also in the second version.
