National Basketball Association (NBA) player, LeBron James is disowned by his hometown, Cleveland after he chose to play for Miami Heat.
People of Cleveland are feeling betrayed because of his decision and have decided not to support him in future.
James fondly called as King James, was announced as the NBA Rookie of the year in 2003-04, NBA Most Valuable Player for the two consecutive years 2008-09 and 2009-10.
James decision is indeed a great loss to the city and that is the reason why he is being cursed by the natives.
The local business mainly is going to be at a huge loss. The restaurants and bars and sporting goods store, toping the list.
Nick Vroutos, owner of a sports showroom said, “A large chunk of this city depends on tourists from out of town coming to see LeBron James. Those people are going to stop coming.”
The stocks market is too at a lost, stocks in Madison Square Garden Inc. have gone down by four percent after James decision.
