UK Today News: Bon Jovi Furious For Not Making It To Forbes Top Celebrity List
Bon Jovi has reportedly got angry for not getting into the list of two of the most followed celebrity lists – Forbes and Musicians Rich List.
According to reports, the list of ‘Power 100’ did not include Bon Jovi that was published in June, this year. The topmost position of the list was occupied by the American television host, actress and producer Oprah Winfrey.
There was other big news waiting to dishearten Jovi. In the ‘Musicians Rich List’, his arch rivals, rock band U2 engaged the ‘first’ position. He had expected to be in the list as he was constantly touring around for his stage performances since February this year.
The listing is done after estimating every act’s earnings of one year. This year it was done from June 2009 to June 2010. Sources say that the estimation involves concert dates, sale of merchandise, licensing fees, music sales and publishing royalties.
The people at Forbes clarified that on BJovi did not tour for eight out of those 12 months.
