On the other side Assange, on Twitter has tweeted that the accusations that have come up against him are baseless, and the charges were “without basis”. He also added that the appearance of the allegations “at this moment is deeply disturbing”.”
He denied the claims that he has been approached by any Sweden Prosecutors’ Office. He said, “No-one here has been contacted by Swedish police” and said it had been warned to expect “dirty tricks”.
Wikileaks has exposed many documents related to the Afghan war in the recent past.
UPDATE: Swedish authorities have withdrawn the arrest warrant for Julian Assange stating that the charge had no solid proof of rape and it was an unfounded accusation.
