Europe Flights Resume As Airspace Opens, Volcanic Ash Still An Issue

There is great anticipation in the air for the UK fights to come back to normal in spite of the fact that there is a second cloud of moving towards UK today. Even though the chances for the UK flights to resume services doesn’t look so good, there are till some flights that have got the green signal to take off.

The Civil Aviation Authority has stated that they could not land in the airspace where NATS is not providing them service. Around 14000 flights were scheduled to take off on Tuesday, but only half of that could be managed.

Minister Lord Adonis said : “”All decisions being taken by the aviation regulators are intended solely to protect the travelling public, and I will not compromise passenger safety.”

The spread of volcanic ash has affected many areas across Europe over the past five days.
