UVA Lacrosse Death: The death of Yeardley Love, a student of University of Virginia and a star player of the women’s Lacrosse team, has spread a strange silence and grim sorrow throughout the UVA and the community.

Her absence from the classroom has made the community very sad. Reports say that the 22 year old was just weeks away from her graduation and she was preparing for her final exams.

As the exams were just around the corner, the women’s lacrosse team was thinking of ending the season with a championship win. She was from Cockeysville, Md. Her amiable personality and athletic ability has gone with her.

It was early on Monday morning that police cars were lined up in front of her apartment when her room mate found her dead; she had many physical injuries on her body. Immediately the police rounded George Huguely, the police said that they never had much information about the two but they were in a romantic relationship some time ago.

According to CBS News: “Love’s body has been taken to Richmond for an autopsy, and Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo said that investigators planned to interview teammates and friends about the nature of the relationship between Love and Huguely.”
