Beverage giant Coke, known for its signature red cans, has launched the limited edition cans known as ‘Im pround to be an American’. Maintaining the patriotic fever, the blue cans will honor the members of military and features the American flag.
The cans with the American flag design will be rolled out celebrate the 75 years of partnership with the United Service Organizations. The new cans will be in stores through July 4, 2016. The song lyrics and the American flag will be on the 16 ounce cans along with 12 ounce cans that come in 20,24 and 35 packs.
Beverage giant Coca Cola is the latest company to introduce the USA themed packaging. Earlier even Anheuser-Buch changed the name of ‘Budweiser’ to ‘America’ and the name change had last through the presidential in November. The new Coca Cola cans will also promote ‘Campaign to Connect’ which is sponsored by Coca Cola and the USO that was earlier reported by AdAge.
The campaign will focus on encouraging the Americans to send one million messages of support to the members of the armed forces. The messages can be sent online through the campaign’s website. A special celebration of Coca Cola’s partnership with the USO is all set to begin at NASCAR’s Coca Cola 600 race.
