UKTodayNews.com: Indian model Vanya Mishra was crowned the Femina Miss India 2012 winner on March 30 . Vanya hails from Chandigarh and is currently in the 3rd year of electrical engineering.
Mishra has been brought up by her mother who is a single parent. Vanya fought it out for the Indian pageant against 19 other models and won the title to represent India at the upcoming Miss World 2012 pageant which will be held in China.
The Indian beauty also has a knack for social work and often visits the school of visually impaired children. The model directly entered in to the final after she won the title of Dabur Gulabari Miss Rose 2011 contest.
It has been more than 10 years since India has won the coveted crown, so will Vanya break the jinx?
